I'm thinking about flying Virgin Atlantic next year for my hunt. It makes for a longer trip going through London but I'll give hours between flights to stretch my legs and relax in the lounge.

Any thoughts on the route of Los Angeles - London - Jo'berg or the airline. I'm not taking any firearms on this trip.

Virgin Atlantic ‘Upper Class’ is very nice. The selection of high end liquor is worth the price of admission. It’s kinda cool to have a walk
Up bar on an airplane. Their London lounge is one of the nicest anywhere. Great haircuts, shoe shine, full spa, incredible menu.

I agree. I took them monthly to London for a year when we were involved in a project in the UK. At that time they also had massages during the flight.

I hunted with friends that choose that route. We would go direct from Atlanta a day after their departure. And they would show up in Joberg sleeping/hungover from their layover in London. They would leave the airport to hit some pubs.

So we would find them “sleeping” somewhere in the Joberg airport waiting for us to arrive. :>)))

But I’ll bet they were smiling in their sleep!

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
