I have moved on to Maven Binoculars, but I have a pair of vortex diamondback binoculars that is only 4 or 5 years old. I keep them in my truck at all times as a cheaper pair to look at deer on side of road. When I first got them I was really impressed, but they have gotten to point now it’s difficult to count points on deer at more than 100 yards. There is oil on the lenses from my eye lashes, but that is only issue I can see. I have tried to clean them with lens pen and fine cloth, but doesn’t help. Has anyone else had this issue with vortex or any suggestions? I’m planning to call them and see what they say, but there is nothing functionally wrong with the binoculars.

If it's oil try a cotton ball and some rubbing alcohol to get it off

Zeiss wipes.
Little disposable wet wipes for your lenses.
We clean all our optic, glasses and even our phones with them.

+1 on Zeiss Wipes...

Very affordable and very good for cleaning everything from eye glasses to scopes to binos...

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
