Wanted George Gibbs .505 Rifle

I am looking for a a nice George Gibbs made .505 (Gibbs). I missed out on a great example of one a few years ago and regret it. It is for my collection but it would also be my intention to take it hunting and use if for what it was built for. That is usually the intention I have for all of my Safari rifles. Although, many of them have not gotten to make it to the hunting grounds...yet.

If you have a nice one for sale or know of a nice example for sale for a decent price, please let me know. Thanks!

Weren't there only like 20 made by Gibbs?

They are sort of tough to find but not nearly that rare. I guess I should clarify that I mean I am looking for a 505 Gibbs made by the gunmaker firm of George Gibbs. I didn’t necessarily mean a gun made by the actual hand of George Gibbs himself (although that would be amazing).

I am pretty sure there is a firm that owns the Gibbs name and would make one for a customer right now. I am just looking for a used example.

Thank you neckdeep. I saw that one at Dismal River awhile back and it would have been perfect. Unfortunately, when I saw it and contacted them, they had just sold it and were waiting on the cashier's check to come in. So close...
