Watching primitive knifemaking

That was really interesting. Thanks for posting.

Always seems a necessary prerequisite for these types of films that the presenter looks like the folks from that era. He's probably a high court judge Monday to Friday lol.

Not if you look into his website. This is his full time way of life. He started flintnapping at age 5 (first minute r two in the video

Very cool! It seems he really knows his flint dynamics and the skill to shape it into a blade. It’s obviously not just smacking a rock/bone on a chunk of flint over and over again and hoping for the best.

Very definately a skill learned over a lot of hours and no doubt quite a few losses.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
