I am wondering whether anyone has experience with managing a personal waterfowl area? There is a lot online about deer habitat but not much about waterfowl.

I own a lot 165 acre lot that backs onto public land in Ontario. The south west section is a lower elevation. I have hunted in there and it is very boggy. There are also two ponds, likely with the benefit of a beaver dam. The area is heavily forested as it was replanted after logging over a decade ago. The area is in the Mississippi flyway. A nearby lake hosts woodies and mallards. I am wondering if it would be possible to make changes to the wet area and ponds to make them more attractive to waterfowl. This would be done as part of a general project to make the area more suitable for hunting. How feasible is this type of project - is it the domain of the larger organizations that have deeper pockets and heavier machinery?

Mossy Oak has several videos on the subject. Shallow water, corn and millet.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John buzzardhilllabs@hotmail.com

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
