Just saw this in my morning New York Times (no cracks about my choice of newspapers!):
The board of the Humane Society of the United States decided Thursday to retain its longtime chief executive despite an investigation that has uncovered multiple harassment complaints against him, according to one of the board members and news media reports. The decision prompted several people on the board to resign, the board member said.
A report in The Washington Post said that investigators had identified three complaints of sexual harassment against the chief executive, Wayne Pacelle, and also found that senior female leaders claimed that their warnings about workplace misconduct had been overlooked.
