Gidday - What do you think of the Hornady Interbond 165 gr projectiles ? I am going to start using them in my .300 mag. See how they group at the range soon.
Cheers - Simon

Thought about the Barnes TTSX , mates using them in his .308 , good grouping. See how these Hornady do. Can always buy more and blow them into hillside behind the range !!!My bet is the 180 grain will fly better than the 165, (of course depending on your rifle) I'd test both though if you like the bullet.
We just tested Barnes(TTSX,TSX,MRX), Nosler, Corelokt all 180's and the best result was the 180 grain Barnes TTSX BT.
3/4 inch groups at 100 yards (not from a bench)
Did not get around to your specific bullet, we gave up when we found one what worked in the rifle.
Tell me how your tests go and we may have to give them a try in the other 300 when we get back from SA.
Gidday mate - Never heard of the Woodleigh in good old New Zealand , sound deadly. Some brands of projectile and powder are getting hard to get here. What powder are you using ? Thanks - SimonAny particular reason for the Hornady? Woodleigh make a 180gr protected point specifically for the 300 Mag and it as a real performer. It's knocked over loads of pigs at home as well as rusa and fallow and in Africa it's taken everything up to Hartmann's Mountain Zebra and sable as well as a stack of others. I'm driving them at 2,950fps.
