I used to see 26 new shows a year, now I'm down to 8. Are you kidding me, this is new low for outdoor "Africa" programming. They did not have to be lion, leopard, elephant and Cape buffalo hunts. You could of mixed in plains game?

well thats 8 more than i get.....:(

on here is the only place ive heard of tracks across africa.
we may hours ahead of time from you guys but years behind in good stuff

I can understand cutting down to 13, we were pretty spoiled with all the great hunts, but 8 leaves me thinking we got screwed...because my cable bill keeps going through the roof and I'm thinking it ain't worth it.

bluey,
You can watch the shows by going to the Outdoor Channel's website. Here is a link to the Tracks Across Africa page.

Just when you think you have this internet thing figured out someone like Mtgoat teaches you something. I know I'm not bluey, but thanks for that, didn't know you could go to a TV shows website and watch the episodes. Hell, maybe I was raised in a barn, who knew...:bonk:

Glad to help. I know how you feel. I have spent most of my life in IT, but it seems like whenever I get something figured out, they go and change it.

It seems that most of what I am finding on wild tv these days is repeats.

It seems like they pattern the programs to coincide with seasons in North America. I have a Tivo. One of the features that it has is called a "Wish List". You can give it some keywords (like Africa) and will record any shows with that in the title or description. You can then narrow it further to just shows about hunting. It works very well. Unfortunately, it works equally well for those House & Garden channel shows that my wife likes to watch. ;)

I just have regular PVR so I have to scan through everything to find what I want but I seem to be deleting 90% of what I record because they are repeats.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
