Watch out for the hippos, they are always close to the crocs!

Welcome!

Welcome sir! Watched a large group of hippos last week during lunch by the river on two separate days! They mostly just stood in the water watching us. However, I would not want to mess with them!

This guy however looked at us like we were lunch. I was glad he and his pride members had just finished eating!

Hippo, things with small brains scare me most.

Hippo kill more people than any other animal in Africa. That said. On land the lion, water Hippo

Whichever one is running aggressively towards me!!! :A Banana Sad:

Seeing as how I can't outrun either one of them I'd have to vote for both

i only have to out run who I'm with. With that being said any PH I have been with is younger and faster than me so I vote for both

or swim faster

Note to self, never canoe in Africa

I'm told that is why you carry a .22 pistol ;)

ha..ha.. up in Uganda.. The hippo is nothing more than a primitive and small brained but fast 2 ton pig.. I have more respect and fear unpredictable lions...

Welcome to AH !

I suppose it would depend on the circumstances

Welcome to AH Harrison. Glad to have you.

I am guessing you do some bird hunting in Kenya. How difficult is it for a foreigner to hunt birds there?

All the best.

After my recent fishing trip in the Zambezi, without doubt hippo!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
