Hunting wildboar in Romania is an adventure.
when i was overthere for hunting roebuck, Marius ask me if i was interested for a wildboar hunt.
Yes i was interested.
Where i hunt in Germany, the wildboar has become an night annimal.
But in Romania, in the remote area’s they are daytime active.
Marius has several hunting grounds, and local rangers take care off those places including feeding places for wildboar.
Trailcams showed much activity, so we decided to give it a try on a highseat.
Within 30 minutes a fox showed up, its must be an vegetarian fox, its starts eating from the corn.
After a while, the fox was scared of something, and the fox disappeared.
Marius told me to prepare, i put my rifle ready to shoot and a huge wildboar showed up in full day time.
The wildboar started to eat corn, till it was in the right position for me to give a shot.
It dropped on the place, pff, what an adrenaline.
The ranger, who sat on an another highseat a few clicks away, contact us and came over, the loading of the wildboar was another adventure!

In full daytime we where back to the hunting cabin to celebrat.

The next morning, i went out for roebuck again, while stalking in the first light i could shoot another wildboar.
Thanks again Huntromania / Marius Merutiu!

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
