Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless .338rum/.300rum

I have a Model 70 Classic Stainless in a laminated stock. The original owner (the father of a friend) had it glass bedded and had a Remington .338RUM barrel custom threaded for it. As far as I can tell, the original Winchester .300RUM barrel was never fired and will come with the rifle. I bought it intending to use it for elk hunting but decided that the rifle is heavier than I want to pack for dozens of miles and am now selling it to fund the build of a mountain rifle. Asking $1500 OBO.

Supposedly the 300 RUM rifles make for easy conversions to .404 Jeffrey.
