Glad you had a great hunt. I'll be looking for your posts and pictures.

Looking forward to it. :A Popcorn:

Bullhunter, we’ll be waiting all excited for the grand adventure report! Hope you have lots of pictures from the tent camp!

Part 1

I look allways for new adventures. Most self-guided (or semi self-gudied) hunts in all parts of the world.

For 2018, I had some great adventures and planed to go to Africa for oct. 2018. The I see here in the forum the offer from Lon and I think, okay, lets do it.

I send an deposit, witch was not so easy.
Here in my country, we have not so mutch expirience with western union, credit Cards, sending money to bank in other countrys (and with tipps in genereal :)), so the start was an little bit complicated for me.

But with an little trust and help, it was not an big problem.

Part 2

I - and my girl-friend - traveld with SA to the falls, Lon and his wife waited there of us and we travelled for the first night to their house.
It is an big house, directly on the water (here you can fish).
They have an great bar (all included, but we drink not mutch alcohol) and some lovley pets (e. g. an big dog named "mauser" and the greatest bird, an cacadou witch I have evern see. Realy I want to buy that bird, if it was possible.)

Good food, good rooms, no problems.
We speak about the hunt and the coming days.

Can’t wait to hear more

Great start......

Looking forward to reading about the rest of the adventure :A Popcorn:

Part 3

I had made pictures with Leica (high resolution and quality pictures) and my handy (Huw. 20, for dokumentation).
I will use for this report my handy-Pictures.

Part 4

Then we moved to their camp.
It was an 2 - 3 hours drive, you can see mutch from the country and the people.

We stopped on the way by the house of the chief, an very friendly man.
He ist "the chief" in the cultural things to the people in the land of the hunting concession.
He ist "the chief" of nearly 50 villages and 5.000 people, so he is very important and an very intelligent and friendly man also.

We see him later two times.
Also we invited him for an dinner on the last day.
I can only say, if stay their as an client, do it also.

Lon has to him - and also in general to the native people - an very good contact and is called "his white son".
He did a lot for the people their, help and sponsordend them in / with water, an little "hospital" an "school", pp.

Lon teaches the people of an study-group about hunting, "bringing" money in the comunity, pp.

The chief is sitting in the middle (at the table, with the hat.)

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
