Rigby Mopani 450 Rigby Rifle

Outstanding. Well done.

Hope Santa gets it to you on time ;-)

Amazing rifle. The stuff daydreams are made of for sure. Someday! Congratulations for securing it.

That's absolutely sexy

I guessing there won't be a speed shoot video...
I spent a fair bit of time on the range with the last one I had practicing quick follow up shots, obviously not as fast as the Blaser haha but not too bad. Will spend plenty of time on the range with this one as well.
I think I have a video somewhere, trying to sho0t my last 450 as quickly as I could, I'll try and find it.

@Aussie_Hunter
That is a beauty. Congratulations. I love them 450 Rigby's.

After buying my first one, the Rigby Big Game in 450 Rigby has definitely become my favourite big bore rifle. They fit me almost perfectly and the straight stock with the big heavy 22" barrel is perfect for the 450 Rigby cartridge.

Addl: as I don't know that much about Rigby, or really any mfr as far as investment.
For what it's worth "The tone/color of that particular Walnut" compliments, sets it off perfect.

I wouldn't shoot it.

You shoot that rifle like a pro. Well done.

Congratulations on a fantastic rifle! Truly gorgeous.

What are the various limited edition Rigbys? I had heard of the WDM Bell Highland Stalker, the Jim Corbett Highland Stalker, but never The Mopani. So far I have found the Swiss Rifle, the limited edition falling block, the Tsavo Rifle. Any I'm missing?

Beautiful!!

As @Tintin pointed out, the water buffalo rifles are another one but between those and the ones you have listed thats all I am aware of.

Whats the reasoning behind not shooting it, keeping it in mint condition as a collectable?

Saw a good looking knife you posted a pic of with the watermelon. Can I ask the make? Looks like you hunted with Guav Johnson? We overlapped in the Save once. Would like to hunt with him one day..
