Good to know! Thank youOxi Shipping and Highveld are owned by the same person.
Mine are still in progress. So far I have been happy with their communication. Last month they reached out to me that the Blesbok hide was very thin (due to it being summers when dad shot it) so they recommend to replace it with better one that they have in stock. I thought that they will charge me for it, but they did a free courtesy replacement.
Plus, I get to see the progress on every step via a dedicated area on their site, where they upload pictures.
Thank you, I sent you a message.Blaine0023 Feel free to message me if you have questions regarding African Barefoot Safaris or Highveld.
I hunted with ABS in 2022 and will be returning in August.
Any update on working with Highveld? I am going in November with African Barefoot Safaris and Highveld is their chosen taxidermist.
I think our trophies are likely in the same container, just arrived into Houston on the Aramis. I live outside Houston so we are going to pick up directly here when they are cleared in a few weeks…Hello,
So far still the same as before with the exception of everything being completed and now scheduled for ocean freight.
1. I had my dip and pack sent via air freight and everything showed up in great condition to my taxidermist stateside.
2. My other portion of my trophies I had Highveld finish over there and ship via over fright. (I wanted to test out multiple options so I can have experience with both before returning). So far all looks great with my trophies getting finished there based on progress pictures and link. Highveld and Oxi have both been easy and timely to work with. They worked with me on a payment schedule and have done everything I have asked.
I should have a more substantive update later in the summer when the trophies arrive.
