SOUTH AFRICA: 1st Time Hunting Part 1

What a great hunting report! I'm glad you enjoyed your time and got some time great animals!

Since you enjoyed hunting so much, perhaps you should talk to Hubby about hunting opportunities closer to home. I live in Michigan but hunted "Hogs" in Texas several times and had a blast. I'd bet you'd enjoy that as well. BTW thanks for sharing your adventure.

Great report. The smiles say it all. Glad you had such a wonderful experience.

Thanks for the tip. My husband and I have considered doing that but have not found a guide out that way.
Happy hunting!

Way to go girl...keep it up!!
And, don't feel bad about the one that got away...there's not a hunter alive that has not experienced a lost wounded animal...and if there is, then their turn will come as sure as the sun rises every morning.
Great story.. great hunt!!

Thank You for the AWSOME hunt report!!

As for an Outfitter in Texas @gizmo and his Rockin G Ranch is outside of Amarillo TX. He is a sponsor here on AH and lots of fun to hunt with.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
