Unless it’s for a specific utility, I don’t even window shop mass manufactured knives anymore. Even if you have to save up for a while, buy a custom knife at least once in your life. It’s a very different experience and bringing it on hunts will add another layer of enjoyment to your experience...
My understanding is that Bertram US was an importer. Bertram is still making brass and @RAVEN ROCKS PRECISION is working on becoming the new importer. Hopefully this is indeed the case, though there’s probably more speculation that usual with US imports in general st the moment.
Agreed! I’m on the fence with turkey hunting, but a matured 10ga sxs would sure sweeten the experience. Self bows and 10ga make for a pleasant battery.

Do you do these with geese or only ducks? I collect as much of the duck fat as possible, and would rather have the same quantity of fat than meat, though the meat is great. I haven’t been able to connect on geese yet so haven’t had much kitchen time with them.
