I had ordered a new Double Rifle from Heym about one and half years ago, and have been advised it now been finished and ready to go.
Originally, when I had ordered the gun i sopke with Heym and we agreed i could pick it up at the factory when completed and travel back to Tanzania, where i live...
I appreciate your skepticism, hower I simply offered my advice and speak from many years of personal experience in dealing with KWS on the same. As I said the original poster should engage directly with KWS on the subject.
Kenya is my Home and has bern for over 35 years although, these days I have relocated to Tanzania, but I still maintain my home in Kenya.
Please don't listen to those on this forum who do not know but only speculate.
I want to tell you clearly that You Can bring mounted trophies to Kenya.

The new follower already installed I don't particularly want to remove it to take a photo.
It basically thinner. If you look at the standard flower it's very thick compared to the new one.
It just let's me load/camber a 4th round by striping it from the mag. The follower might need some slight...
@ Krish thank you.
I much prefer the oil finsh to gloss they normally come with.
Also Rigby kindly made me me a new slimmer magazine follower and magazine spring so that I can load 4 rounds in 450 the Rigby.
@geoff, here is the proper Rigby... 450..you reference.
Residing in Tanzania with me.
Always taking care of things when I ask it to do so.

But this one was in 275...
Geoff, you know me too well. The 450 rigby is indeed my favorite .
I have your norma 550gr solids and softs with me in TZ along with some hotter handloads of 500gr Barnes.

The easiest route would be to take a RSM in 458Lott have it re-chambered to 450 Dakota/Rigby.
Have an Rsm 416 rigby mag follower and Extracor fitted, also the bolt face might need some work. I'm sure a good gunsmith can get this done for...
I have switched from using 4350 in the 450 rigby to 4895 powder. I can use a smaller charge for the same velocity, that also translates to lower recoil. If you PM me I can send you some loads I have used running over 2350fps with varios 500 gr bullets.
Best of luck.
