Every thing I have is on zero at 25 yards .

I’m taking some 400 grain North Fork bonded soft points to try this summer on buffalo along with some 450 grain Woodleighs for my 416 Rigby.

I have had great service from Schmidt & Bender Products for close to 30 years !

I used Talley QD rings to mount both.

Work is tough to get away from 3 weeks at a time for sure, congratulations ! I’m jealous!

I have only killed one lioness so I’m far from an expert. I used a 416 Rigby with Hornady 400 grain DGX ammo. One shot and bang flop. I think it would be plenty of gun in most situations for lion or lioness.

Eland taken with Heym Martini 416 Rigby .

I have shot buffalo, lioness, wildebeest, warthogs, eland & gemsbok with the 416 Rigby. It works great within its range limits.

I have Schmidt Bender Exos 1-8 on on my AHR 416. I also mounted a Swarovski Z6 1-6i on my Heym Martini 416. I have not had any issues with them.

I have had a Z5 & Z8i fail on hunts. I am sticking to Schmidt Bender,Night Force & Leopold for now. I still use Swaro binos .

A 350 TSX at 2400 fps from my 416 Rigby taken from just under the skin on the off side shoulder of Cape buffalo.

He does excellent work. I looked at some of his rifles at DSC . He is a nice guy to talk to also.

A 168 grain 30 caliber Barnes TTSX is a real killer !

I have used every thing from a 30/06 & 7mm mag to 300 Win to 416 Rigby and they all worked perfectly. The 30/06 is about perfect or 7mm rem mag where longer shots are expected.

I sight mine dead on at 25 yards .

I’ve shot everything from warthogs up to buffalo with 350 Barnes TSX out of a 416 Rigby with excellent results.
