    Why Buy A Blaser K95?

Finally was able to get in the field and clean up a few pigs and feral goats with the Blaser K95. This little sow was first of three pigs and nine goats taken. Barnes TTSX 150gr bullet @ 2870fps certainly did the job handily. Cheers John

    Why Buy A Blaser K95?

Really depends on the buyer, I looked at two secondhand K95 Luxus however bought new as it was actually only $500 more and I received better wood, forend and finish. I would think you would be better off selling the optics and octagonal barrel separately to get a decent price.

Tattoos... advice from those so adorned

Yep fully agreed, there are some truely talented artist out there and there is more than a few wannabes. Take your time, find the right tattooist and when it all comes together and you are in their shop you will know if it is right for you or not. There just isn't a wrong answer, just your answer.

Tattoos... advice from those so adorned

I am 56, first tattoo was at 17, followed by many more bits and pieces. Finally I had a very good tattooist link them all up so I guess I have a now two large tattoos. Would/will I get more tattoos? Yes, but there is no rush, probably my two family coat of arms, maybe my old army regiment...

My new K95 is finally here!

A little Blaser K95 update - Since I had a spare Zeiss HT scope and Blaser mount I bought myself a Blaser K95 Luxus (red deer/roe deer engraving), grade 6 walnut, super finish and ebony tip. The 308, 30-06, 7x57 Conundrum

If I get to hunt PG in Africa I will bring my Blaser R8 with both 9.3x62 and 30-06 barrels. Woodleigh 286gr for the 9.3mm and Barnes TTSX 168gr for the 30.

What problems have you encountered with your Blaser R8?

I would like to add to my initial response. The problem with having a Blaser R8 Success timber stock is that I now want an R8 Professional plastic stock which would give me a great poor weather option utilising my already acquired barrels, optics/mounts and cases. Maybe a Savanna stock for my...

9.3x62 barrel added, time to stop collecting barrels (22-250, 6.5x55, 30-06 & 9.3x62) that ought to do it, better get back to paying the mortgage (and hunting). Damned Blaser are just so versatile.

    Blaser R93 9.3x62 insert for 30-06?

What problems have you encountered with your Blaser R8?

What problems have you encountered with your Blaser R8?

I have a Blaser R8 Success (timber) and a one Makura Ulrich Takedown R93 and had a Blaser R93 Professional, zero problems encountered. I have owned many different rifles and would put the Blaser right up there with the best of them.

Recently sold a Blaser R93 Pro and three barrels and some other rifles, deciding on a timber stocked R8 Success for most hunting. The Best Shooting Sticks!

I bought a Bog Pod tripod and that was okay especially with my late 70's father shooting, helps him steady the rifle. I then bought the Fenris II quad sticks, worlds apart, culling feral goats out to 400m with 300Win in a Sendero weight Rem700, very very effective in tall grass. Now I am...

    Blaser R8 scope mount question

Hi I have this bottom of the scope clearance issue with my Aimpoint 9000, I have two INNOmounts for my R93 with a 6x42 and 8x56 S&B, both have ample clearance in low 30mm rings. My Aimpoint has a fat belly and will NOT mount in low rings as it bells out on the mounting base. Cheers John

    Barnes bullets in.30-06

Totally agree Bob, I will hunt with cup & core non-bonded bullets in 30-06 class cartridges. I have a Barnes load for my Mauser and Blaser but do not regularly shoot it. Barnes bullets in.30-06

My Mauser M12 30-06 Expert likes the TTSX 168gr bullet but shooting with a 2MOA Aimpoint those bullets are more accurate than me. Forget the benchrest groups, if it's under 2" your good to good hunting at stalking ranges.
