10.75x68 Mauser - Best Accuracy Load

We had a 50 degree day here so I went to the range to test the new scope that I added. Its a Pecar 2x-7x. I used Warne rings because you can easily remove the scope, and have it return to zero when replaced. The group below shows 3 shots with the scope in place, and 2 shots after removing the scope, and replacing it back on the rifle. I didn't keep track of which shots were which, but all 5 shots went into the same hole.

As usual your comments are welcome.

That’s fantastic! My 10.75 puts 347gr Kynoch soft points one on top of another. When I exhaust my supply of Kynoch ammo, I’ll have to remember your load of 61gr of IMR 4895. It’s a great round and rifle.

Does Woodleigh make this bullets again?
RWS does not any longer.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
