Tried reloading? Gives you lots of options. My thoughts on the 416 caliber 350 grain TTSX...
Wish I could get it in loaded ammo for the 416RM.

Two things. One, I don’t reload. Second, I wrote that when I had a 416RM which I no longer do.Tried reloading? Gives you lots of options.
Thanks for the info, am gonna try these in my 416WSM wildcat for moose.Between the 350gr TTSX and 400gr TSX there probably isn’t much practical difference. I used a 400 gr TSX on my one and only Buffalo. One shot, through the shoulder, quartering towards us. It shed 3 of 4 petals, but took out the near shoulder and penetrated well. This resulted in a very uneventful recovery.
For buffalo and maybe hippo, I’d favor the 400 at 2400 fps, just because it’s a tried and true recipe. I wouldn’t hesitate an instant to use the 350 TTSX though.
Too bad, makes loading big guns cheaper and great if you like odd calibers like me, Happy Huntin. Two things. One, I don’t reload. Second, I wrote that when I had a 416RM which I no longer do.
Sticking to a 375H&H with 300 grain Barnes TSX factory loaded for nearly all endeavors.
