416 Rigby with Ammo and Rings

'99 manufacture CZ 550 Magnum in 416 Rigby. Not 100% condition but darned close.Trigger is well tuned and it feeds/ejects smoothly oriented in any direction, including upside down. Comes with what I believe are Warne 1" low QD rings and 15 rounds of HSM 350gr Barnes ammo.

Will ship in a new, properly sized (long) hard case to your FFL. $2000 plus shipping.

Good offer. The CZ rifles made in the late 1990-early 2000 era were well made. Not the fine polished actions of a Rigby, but in the right hands, a little TLC, excellent rifles.
My first big bore the same rifle in the American (straight stock).

Yes. The machining and fitting just a little bit better.

My CZ 550 in .500 Jeffery made in 2014 from the custom shop from Triple River Gunsmith was okay but not the same as the.416 Rigby from early 2000s.

Good rifle for sale. I expect a savvy member here on AH, will recognize a good buy.

I had been eyeing this one since it listed, and I couldn't resist it after the last price drop. I am looking forward to taking it to Zambia in July. Never Been has been very good to deal with and spent a lot of time on the phone answering questions, etc. Quick to ship and I anxiously await its arrival. I'm confident it will be as good if not better than described. Now I just need more ammo!

I finally received the very nice CZ550 at my FFL after three weeks being MIA at USPS and the rifle is worth the wait and even better than I expected. Seller was very prompt with shipping (same day I sent funds!) and did an outstanding job of hand holding and went over and above the call of duty to investigate the shipping issue and get things moving at USPS, despite the very poor customer service I received from USPS when trying to locate the "missing" firearm. Nobody at USPS customer service in Little Rock could tell me anything about its location or anything else for three weeks... that's when they actually answered the phone. Unacceptable and hopefully this is isolated to the Little Rock facility and not a more widespread issue with USPS. I understand mistakes and unexpected events can happen but that's when a company, or an individual, really shows their stripes - how they handle unforeseen issues and mistakes. Never Been went the extra mile when unexpected hiccups arose that were out of his control, and USPS failed. I only bring all of this up to 1) pass along the great experience that I had with the seller (aka Never Been) and the 416 Rigby is outstanding - thank you, and 2) recommend anyone shipping anything of importance or value consider using FedEx or UPS whenever possible, as my experience with USPS service was a major disappointment.
