First, the only reason I am selling this is because I am moving up in caliber for fun. Second, I bought this Chapuis 450-400 3 inch DR from JJ in OK back in July of 2020 so it is just now two years old and has been on only 1 hunt to Africa where it took a beautiful almost 44 inch buff and 4 PG. It only has a couple of hunting marks on it and is flawless. Third, you will not believe all that I am selling with it...yes, you cannot get reloading components for this caliber but I will blow your mind just how much I have and am selling with the rifle. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO BUY ANY RELOADING COMPONENTS SEPARATELY. I am only selling this as a package deal. I am quoting current pricing IF YOU COULD FIND THEM IN STOCK WHICH YOU WILL STRUGGLE TO DO.
Capuis 450-400 3 inch NE DR $13,339. I have regulation papers, JJ certificate, and hard case. (THIS PICTURE IN TOTAL OF SAME GUN FROM GUN INTERNATIONAL)
400 grain Woodleigh Soft Nose Bullets 10 1/2 BOXES...YOU CAN NOT EVEN BUY THESE NOW...50 bullets to the box $800
400 grain Woodleigh Hydroshoks - 10 bullets $40
400 grain Sledgehammer Solids - 30 bullets $150
400 grain Hornady DGX - 30 bullets $45
Two sets of dies - $160
9 boxes on once shot Hornady 450-400 3 inch brass $630 (NOT SHOWN IN RELOADING PICTURE BUT HAVE THEM.)
Total: $15,164

I WILL SELL ALL THE ABOVE FOR ONLY $13,700 WHICH INCLUDES SHIPPING WITHIN US. Basically for the price of the rifle new you get all the rest free.

Sorry, Trijicon red dot not included.

I have one of these rifles, and I want to let any potential buyers know this IS an AWESOME deal. Mine shoots straight, very light but still won't hurt too bad when you pull the trigger! I highly recommend it, and good luck!

This is a very good deal. That stack of woodleigh 400gr softs make me drool.

Out of curiosity, did you ever slug the rifle? I assume as a new rifle the bore is .410, but I see you have .411 and .410 Woodleighs.

Like 500j and 500 NE, they both take .509 and 510.

Excuse my confusion here. In your media photos under the photo with your buff you have written the DR is a Rizinni. This rifle here you listed as a Chapuis. Two separate buffs with two different DRs or mistake in the media photo?

No…the Buffalo was not taken with the 470 Rizzini whatsoever. I had to sell the Rizzini given it was too light for the caliber well before my hunt and buy the Chapuis. Please reread my report and you will clearly read I used my Chapuis 450-400 DR for my hunt

Made a deal on this hours after it was posted
For him to get a better offer and back out 24hrs later. After lengthy pm’s about guns yours my word is good bla bla bla. Sent his details to get him funds. So yeah your word is nothing. Thanks for wasting my time.

To be clear to everyone on here, I went back to him and kept my word and offered him the rifle for the price agreed to which was a tremendous discount but he no longer wanted it. To say this is one rude guy is quite the understatement. Really did not appreciate his language or attitude. I explained about my spouse and all of us have one but he could care less about my being honest with him. Bottom line within one day he had his offer accepted then he backed out which is absolutely fine with me...no one on this site has ever acted this way in my experience. I had two other people on here back out on me with full price offers after they had made them...they each had their reasons which I accepted...it was not about them "keeping their word". One who I will not name said his spouse had now decided not to go with the gun...it happens and I moved on.

But it IS sold, right? I can resist anything but temptation! :(

No it is still for sale. As I said above two buyers at my price backed out after they told me they wanted it but it’s perfectly okay. I respect both of them. It had nothing to do with the package I am offering…both of them recognized the great deal…just at the last minute it just did not do for them. THE PACKGE IS STILL AVAILBLE
