Anyone thinking about building a gun for this cartridge?
I was looking at my reamers this morning and noticed this reamer I wasn't familiar with in the drawer.
It is a solid pilot reamer made by Clymer. From case mouth to datum line-front edge of rim it measures 3.250 on the dial caliper. The pilot, again with dial caliper.is .403+.
I compared this reamer with a factory loade 450/400 3" NE and the only difference I can see is a longer neck.
I don't know where I got this reamer or how long I have had it. Looking at it, it does appear to have been used, but maybe not. Feels sharp.
If you need to use this reamer, drop me a PM. No gauges.
