Steve, It is rebarrelled from a H&R 10 ga. SB2 Frame. (SB1 frame is too weak.)
The method is called a "Barrel Stub" job.
Cut the old barrel off in front of the chamber, Rethread it and screw in a new barrel of you calibre choice. Google "Grey Beard Outdoor". Some info about barrel stubbing on there.
Rifle weighs 12 lbs with no scope. 26.5 inch barrel, 700 grain Peregrine BushMaster bullet at 1850 fps MV. (DRT every time with a shoulder shot. I have the 577NE barrel and a 22 inch, 50-110 barrel.) I did the stock work myself. Minimal drop at comb for moderate recoil.
