A couple of panhandle deer

You mind saying where in the Panhandle?
I was raised in the Panhandle and never saw deer like yours.
in the area around Turkey. Both are free range deer and neither is a particularly good deer for us but they were great management deer. I’m tickled pink, we’ve got a client now after a couple truly monsterous bucks at the moment. Been seeing them quite a bit. Hopefully they’ll mess up while the clients there.

The panhandle has some truly exceptional deer in the right areas. I just scored a buck out of Potter Co that went 222 1/8 SCI. He’s the SCI pending Non-typical #4 all time SCI Texas subspecies free range deer. Because he’s a top 10 animal he will have to be rescored by a master scorer (haven’t got my master’s yet) but I scored him very conservatively. He’ll easily make the #4 spot once a master scorer signs off on him.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
