A little Texas gator hunting

Gator tail is pretty good eating especially when fixed by a Cajun. Hope you guys didn't let any of it go to waste.

@sgt_zim, it is only way I can keep this girlish figure and they don’t sell Castle at Spec’s

Brother, get thyself to Total Wine. Much better selection than Spec's, and generally much better prices.

With the I-10 bridge wiped out I’m in need of a good liquor store!

Nope, I pulled all of the meat off of it for her. Gators are delicious

Glad to know they aren't on your place. I was wondering how much rain the Palo Duro has to get to have gators.... I was just worrying about rattlesnakes.
I agree about the meat, (tail) what I have had was delicious.

It gets way to cold up here for them or I’d throw a few in the lakes and creek for fun.

Nah! They'll just grow thicker coats for them Panhandle winters!

Red Leg, your reference to an 11 Ft. 500 Lb. Alligator as being a "Texas Gecko" is going to make some of the uninitiated residents of that state think you were native born.:rolleyes:
