A Pair of No 1’s

I have now received my .22 Hornet from RJ Renner. I asked him to make it a twin to my .275. I couldn’t be more pleased. I have 1,000 hornet brass prepped and ready to go.

Those are beautifully done. I love the Ruger No. 1, especially in a rimmed cartridge. It just seems so right.

What is the rear sight? It doesn't look like the factory one

It is RJ Renner’s MorVue sight. A ghost ring that replaces the factory rear sight. Incredibly accurate. Here is a pic of the .275 with a 100 yard, 3 shot group shot off sticks.

Sorry, that was a 3 shot group from the bench. This is a three shot group from sticks. I am totally sold on this sight.
