AH Get Together In Dallas During Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Convention 2015

Sorry I missed it.... The bride & I would have enjoyed again. I took my 7 yr old daughter camping. I was fortunate to get to connect with Pheonix Phil & Hartzview crew for dinner/drinks on Wednesday night. Great time! Hope to see &/or meet others next time.

We missed you buddy! Hope your daughter enjoyed camping and I am looking forward on completing your spiral slam pretty soon!

We had a great time. Good food, good company. Didn't get to meet everyone but we definitely made some new friends. Thanks to Phil and James for a great get together.
We went back to the show today and finished getting all the good out of my legs. Whew, Gonna be early bed time tonight. Oh yeah. Ended up booking for 2016 with Jacques and Hartzview. Now the waiting starts. Philip

Philip it was so nice meeting you and Tammy and thank you guys for putting your trust in us for your first safari to Africa. I am so sorry i missed you guys at the show this afternoon, I just had so much to do and time caught up on me! But we will make it up as soon as were in TX and close by! Looking forward on hunting with you guys soon!!

Best regards,

Jacques

Thank you to all the organizers for the event last night, the whole Hartzview team had a great time! In fact such a great time that we forgot to go back to our hotel until 3 this morning!!! Haha ;-)

We enjoyed spending time with the AH group of wonderful people and were looking forward to many more events!

I would also like to thank each and every AH member that stopped by the booth to say hello to both me and Phil. We truly appreciate it very much!

Looking forward on seeing some of you guys in Vegas!

Best regards,

Jacques

I am already missing both the show and the gang!

Kathy and I both must have said a half-dozen times each on the 4 hour drive home "That was a great weekend"!

Can't wait for a "mini AH get-together" in Houston with those who are local.

We have a great bunch here on AH and I am thrilled to have met some of the wonderful folks here.

Now the only legitimate excuse for not going is if you're in Africa! :)

Will definately work the get-together around this Tim.....

:Pompus::Pompus::Pompus:Team Fet (almost all of us) sure enjoyed putting names to faces and meeting new friends. A great evening and great show!! And the mother-of-the-groom comment.....Wyatt is thrilled he will not be having to hit all the formal wear stores- he ordered his suit for his wedding at DSC!!!!

Thanks to everyone who attended our growing dinner and to our sponsors. A big thank you also to @AfricaHunting.com ( i.e. Jerome) for handling payment via PayPal. This took a big load and level of stress off my shoulders both from carrying a load of cash around Dallas to keeping track of who had paid, yada yada yada.

I did not do a count, but I believe we had somewhere around 70 people in attendance which is up again from last year's 50. The more the merrier!

I only heard positive comments from folks and do believe it went well. If you have any concerns that you'd like to express, please feel free to PM me with those.

Thanks again, looking forward to seeing you all and hopefully more at next year's dinner!

I didn't want to ask, but thought I'd include my committed dates just in case you were willing! :)

Count me in to provide help bringing food, drink, gun powder, primers...whatever!

Ladies and Gentleman, it was a grand time. I enjoyed some old school face booking.

Got home yesterday and just catching up. Thanks again for everyone's efforts to put on the banquet, from the reservations to the sponsors, and thanks for the caps as well. Good to meet people and had a great time.

All,
Dayna and I had a wonderful time, I really enjoyed meeting a bunch of y'all from AH. Really nice to talk about something besides work for a change!
Excellent job setting it up guys!
By the way, I'm pretty sure Pieter put a headache in my last tumbler of Bombay! Watch him! Lol.
Thanks again,
Cody

Thanks to everyone that was involved in putting the evening together. Especially Phil.

I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones. My only regret was not being able to get around to seeing and meeting everyone. Hopefully I will do a better job next year.

Already looking forward to next years dinner.

Have a great 2015!

All the best

Many, many thanks to PHOENIX PHIL for really being the one who put this event together and for James Jeffery for helping out with handing out AH caps and doing everything for the prize giveaways. From everyone that I have heard from you guys did an awesome job. I also want to thank all of the other volunteers who pitched in to make sure this event went smoothly and who took pictures as well. I really regret that I was not able to be there but I am glad that everyone had such a grand time. I am so glad that we have such a great community not just on the internet but also in real life!

jerome you should be very proud of this site and the people who help you. I hope to meet you sometime to shake your hand for all you have done for all of us

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
