I have decided to sell the complete set of the original hand-painted anatomy diagrams from the revised edition of my book, Perfect Shot.
These anatomy diagrams were all hand-painted onto 12 x 8" glossy photographs.
This is the only set of such diagrams in existence.
There are 45 such paintings/diagrams, from 31 different African species - from the tallest and largest to the smallest.
Each is accompanied by the original photograph of the species in question.
I hope this set will be purchased by someone or an organization where it can be displayed in a unique and appropriate environment for the enjoyment of many like-minded hunting and shooting enthusiasts.
FYI the original set of diagrams from the first edition of Perfect Shot was recently purchased by John Rigby & Co. and will shortly be on display in the new Rigby Museum in London.
Here is an example of what the diagrams look like.

What an amazing piece of history! I hope it finds a great home. I so enjoyed meeting you and your and your wife this summer flying from San Antonio to Dallas.

I look forward to connecting soon and breaking some bread in Boerne to discuss elephant hunting in Zim. Cheers my friend!!

Derek

Congratulations Kevin on your planned retirement. And allow me to express gratitude for the enormous contributions you have made to hunting.

I venture that your work has saved many an animal from prolonged pain and suffering by helping educate hunters regarding anatomically correct bullet placement. And probably more than a few hunters and PH's from injury or death from wounded dangerous game. Both are worthy and meaningful accomplishments, and I salute you for those!

The photos and artwork are beautiful, and historically important to big game hunters, and I hope they fetch a great price.

I can reveal here that I have previously purchased from you one of the original painted prints that did not make the final edition of the book, but is beautifully done in the same style. It is an elephant and for me it symbolizes the one I hope to hunt soon; a true bucket list item. It is being framed and will have pride of place in my trophy room!

I commend this opportunity to all.

This is an amazing opportunity but one I feel like likely out of my price range. I love the book and have bought copies for several friends before their first Safari.

Have you thought about offering them to SCI or DSC for purchase and they in turn can auction them off to raise additional revenue conservation?

Hope you enjoy retirement.

What a super cool offering. This is rare set of historic educational Safari ephemera that are the sources for some of the most important references we all have used numerous times.

Doctor, I too would like to congratulate you on retirement. Would you please post a price? It is in accordance with forum rules.

I would think you could work out some type of agreement with DSC, SCI, etc to sell them to the organization for a handsome price and allow them to auction them off at their annual meeting. Something like this should bring both of you an ample return on the investment .

DSC or SCI would take too thick of a slice.

Anyone with a large trophy room to hang these should scoop them up. One of a kind in a collection.
