Americase Ammo Case.jpg
I have an Americase Ammunition case and have somewhere along the way lost the keys. I spoke to Americase and they no longer have any of the keys. Brett suggested reaching out to contacts to see if someone could have one made for me. If not, then I would go to a locksmith to have one made. If any of you have a similar case and a key which you could make a duplicate from, let me know and we can work out how to resolve my problem! Thanks for the help. John

I have not been able to find just the keys but you can buy the lock set with keys from Amazon. The keys work on my americase gun cases I believe they are all the same keys.

The latch looks identical to the latch on my old SKB rifle case and golf club case, both pre-TSA locks. I lost my keys and went to a golf shop and a very helpful employee dug into a box and came up with a couple keys. He just gave them to me.

Looks like you can find keys fairly cheap on eBay. Might be worth a try.

Thank you

@375 Ruger Fan I just received the keys from the eBay link you provided. They work. Thank you big time. And, I've put them on a DSC logo key ring so I know where there are going forward. John

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
