And today I saw this:

There is no more CZ75b in production.
Now only the CZ75 P-01 remains.

One of the first super nines, now becomes history.

I don't think I see myself buying a single new CZ product in the future...
The history of the modernization of the company in a few lines:

First of all, they removed the combination guns from production (why bother regulating barrels on them?)

Then discontinued production of magnum length action for tropical calibers. (who hunts in Africa today at all? Why bother)

Then they kicked the CZ 550 Mauser system out of production (why bother with a long Mauser extractor?)

Then they introduced the CZ600, and along the way they elegantly abolished the dovetail as a scope mount base (at one time the symbol of the company), and along the way made a product recall for a technical error.

Then they reduced the number of offered rifle calibers in production

And now they put the CZ 75B out of production (why bother with a DA/SA pistol, made of steel, that is no longer interesting for any army or police in the era of striker fire and modular pistols?)

With this, they turned into minime of Mossberg...
Just one of many budget gun companies....

Guns, ammo, scopes, the list goes on of good things no longer being made because the manufacturers think “no one wants these anymore” in spite of the fact they sold literally every single piece they ever made, and now the scalper clowns on gun broker will resell the very same item (for double or triple fair value) to everyone who never wanted it…

because the manufacturers think “no one wants these anymore”
And yet, some think the opposite. Here is example, and it seams they are doing fine:

Girsan will most likely start making a decent copy...their hipower copy is nice from the couple I have looked at here in the gunshop
CZ 75 B is probably the most cloned pistol in the world. Due to reason not being protected by copyright.
Sphinx, Tanfoglio, etc.... So many will continue production.

The IWI Jericho Series in 9mm-45ACP are rock solid CZ 75 clones.

And let's not forget the 527 for the smaller cartridges! There is no more CZ company in my opinion, what a definite loss!

Do you have a link stating production of all other variants has completely ceased or just that link showing only that one model is available in Europe? I ask because the CZ-USA site still shows the 75-B, Compact, etc. as available.

I have been a big cz fan for a long time. I had a hope when they bought colt that they would make colt better
But it seems cz is going down.
They were my go to recomend gun company.
Not anymore.
Glad I have the good ones I do.
And will pick up any of the Mauser action ones that pop up used that I can.
But I don’t see buying new products from them

Sad, I had both a CZ 75B, and a CZ 85B, great guns !

Catalogue.
I think this is the same as when they phased out cz550. It remained on offer in USA for some time after stopping production

Inglis is right, made in Canada.

My first 9mm was a TZ-75 made by Tanfoglio which was a clone of the CZ-75. I still have it.

I also had a ZC-75 clone by Tanfoglio called The Ultra, made for IPSC shooting.

@mark-hunter you make good observations about how quickly a Gun maker that was known for above average quality at “below average prices” has worked their way DOWN to Taurus & Remington levels. Mossberg seems to have upped its game slightly over the past 10 years.

Love the CZ75's and the 550 Safari Magnums.

At one time, I owned over a dozen CZ75's of different sizes and configurations, from the full size, to compact, to stainless. I even had 3 of the CZeckmate Match pistols before they were widely available here in the U.S. I had a direct contact at CZUSA who gave me a heads up when any new toys were coming our way.

The race to the bottom has been the death of many companies. Let's hope CZ doesn't go to far down that path.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
