Any .577 NE rifles in use out there?

I am the amongst the poorest amongst us.
My .577NE was made from a $300 H&R shotgun. I am hoping to hear from any other .577 NE buffalo hunter regarding his experience with bullets, loads and stalking, etc. for cape buffalo.
I don't think that there are very many of us .577NE shooters around and I feel like a voice in the bush veld (wilderness). Brian
