I have this model and I’m pretty happy

I am a Mannlicher Schoenauer pre 1924 fan. Have handled a few Steyr rifles but none fit me the way the originals do. I am a still hunter so for me fit is very important. I understand that the Steyer rifles are very accurate, but much heavier and thicker than the MS rifles.

I believe they may be discontinued, I'll check with my rep and get back too you.
I have seen aftermarket magwells for the scout that allow the use of FAL mags, But im unsure if they are still in production either.

I love Steyer rifles and have handled several but never owned one. Had a few chances to buy but the stars never aligned.

Our store in Muncy will be open during the Harrisburg show this year, We will also have our usual booth and a couple of the showroom guys there.
Myself and the rest of the senior sales staff do not go to the Harrisburg show, But we will be at DSC and SCI like usual.

Yeah I love em I’ve got a few of them but not the new ones with the safe bolt system I never liked that from the day they launched it at SHOT years back
I’m more into the ones from the 70/80/90s they all still shoot better than me I’ve even got a professional that went through the importers in Georgia stateside ended up in the uk in 25/06 always looking for other professional ones in calibers I’ve not got
