Australia for Retirement?

Whelen was the Commanding Officer at the Franklin Armoury at the time either he or staff member James Howe, developed the 35 Whelen. Whelen had access to all the info on foreign cartridge developments, both military and civil. The 35 Whelen is likely nothing more than a copy of the 9.3x62 re-dimensioned to the 30-06 case. US case law at the time didn't recognize IP theft .
I'm a fan of the '06 case.

For cost of living, here is the most advance and complete link on the web. And it’s free:
And it's free, that seems like a misleading start to the question. :)

I have been watching this Australian archery shop owner, and I will try to complain less about being next door to the US in Canada (the complaint being you can see it in the shop window, you just can't have it).

I've wanted the whole lot of them... In particular I used to look for the 338-06, but no luck in Canada. Never quite showed up in the right format. 25-06, 270, 30, 338, Whelen. Then I think why not a 9.3x62, a 35x62, a 338x62... Indecision. I am actually downsizing a little bit (code for buying new rifles more slowly).
