Beautiful FN Mauser 458 win mag

The left side of the receiver says made in Belgium so it isn't an Interarms Mark X or Whitworth. I don't know about the Mark Xs, but the Whitworth's were "finished" in Manchester, England and say so on the receiver. I have three Whitworths and they also (along with Mark Xs) either have a magazine release inside the front of the trigger guard (earlier models) or a push button on the right side front of the trigger guard. Interesting rifle though at a very fair price.

The rifle has a new home in Wisconsin. A big shout-out thank you to NTO for offering such a wonderful Big Game rifle. A field test post will follow on the .375 & up Forum

A great rifle in a great caliber. Congratulations to the new owner.

It's always nice to see when a good weapon gets to someone who can appreciate it.

Sometimes I felt sorry for selling some of my rifles – I was worried that these guys would mistreat them.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
