Big 5 South African Money

IMG_1157.jpeg

I had the same thing done-the coins have plains game animals on them and are also unique. I like the yellow wall behind yours, accentuates the colors (y)

There is a good chance that I may never be able to afford to hunt the Big-5, so in my view I did the next best thing. Last time I was in South Africa I made sure I got some quality bills with all the Big-5s and framed the bills to go in my trophy room/office. :)

Whoa! that's awesome. Hmm I need to go to my bank Monday and check on some foreign currency :)

Nice. Good Idea.
I might do the same.

Awesome idea and at today's rate, $20.31, it's a lot cheaper.

I actually saved some bills and coins from my trip a few weeks ago to do just this.

Also, don’t give-up on chasing the Big 5. There are plenty of affordable opportunities or you can chase non-trophy, management, or female examples of many to save some money.

How did my high school math teacher get her picture on South African money?!:Woot:

Very cool idea. I’m going to copy you and don’t give up on the big five. A lot of different ways to experience it without breaking the bank

Great ideas by both Para45 and Firebird!

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
