Breaking: Renewables Are Not Good

Wind is an overall negative. Consider the hundreds or thousands of acres of woodland and wildlife habitat that is destroyed to erect one of those damned eyesores that more often than not is abandoned within a few years. Note the destruction of wildland caused by mining resources for solar panels. Then there is all the energy (fossil fuel) used(wasted) to manufacture these gizmos. And in the long run they are not that efficient. How many years does it take to break even on solar on a residence or business?

To me, nuclear is the way to go. All this nuclear waste the govt is trying to hide somewhere could be repurposed to power all sorts of things. If it can be used for ships, why can't it be used for motor vehicles? A tiny reactor could power a car forever, no waste, no emissions. Reactors could be tailored to power industry, manufacturing, homes. The list is endless EXCEPT for the one big detractor--the petroleum industry. Just as they have forever, when any fuel saving device comes on the market, they try to kill it because it hits them in the bottom line even though petroleum fuels the manufacturing process.

No matter how many alternative means of energy come about, they will never replace fossil fuel totally because of prohibitive cost, inefficiency, or availability of raw materials. The dinosaurs will continue to serve.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.
