I'm looking into doing a moose hunt in Canada. Most likely 2024, but if the stars aligned it could be this year. I don't have the budget for a Yukon moose hunt. More looking at Alberta or Newfoundland. I don't want to shoot a small bull. I would hold out for something around that 40 inch mark. I also don't want to hunt farmland.

Does anybody have any recent experience with an outfitter that fits this? Please PM me or reply to this thread.

Alberta would be preferred since I could drive.

Also, an outfitter that could accommodate my 11 year old son as a non hunter would be cool, but not required.

I’d give gander river outfitters serious consideration.

I’d be very surprised if you could book a 2023 moose hunt with any of the bigger outfits in Newfoundland though they’re generally booked a year out atleast

Great success at Arluk Outfitters. Well run, remote camps, good guides, priced right. I have hunted Canada a number of times and highly recommend them.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
