Hi all,

I’ve been a member and quiet observer here for a little while, and I’ve really enjoyed the camaraderie and knowledge shared on this forum. After many years away, I’m getting back into hunting and find myself needing to make a few changes.

I’m right-handed but left-eye dominant. It never really mattered much when I was just shooting from a bench, but now that I plan to hunt more seriously, I’m transitioning over to left-handed rifles that better fit my shooting style. So, I’m making some room in the safe and offering up a few of my right-handed rifles.

These are well-cared-for rifles, lightly used, and fairly priced. I’m happy to answer questions, provide more photos, or hear any input from those more experienced with these platforms.

Rifle #1 – Thompson Center TCR 83/87 Aristocrat – .270 Win Barrel

Up for your consideration is a Thompson Center TCR 83/87, a beautifully built single-shot rifle known for its interchangeable barrel system. This one includes a .270 Winchester barrel and a set of 1-inch scope rings.

I was told by the previous owner that while the receiver has seen use, the .270 barrel was bought new in the 1980s and has never been fired. I can’t verify that firsthand, but based on condition, it appears very lightly handled.

The wood shows typical safe handling marks, but nothing excessive — I’d rate the stock condition at a solid 9/10. This is the only TCR in .270 Win I’ve personally come across, though I’m sure others are out there.

Asking: $1,150

  • Also listed on GunsInternational
  • Will ship to FFL (buyer pays shipping)
  • Located in Arizona

Rifle #2 – Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT – .280 Ackley Improved Package

This Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in .280 Ackley Improved was purchased by me just a few months ago. I’ve fired approximately 30 rounds, mostly for sight-in.

I did notice the action felt a bit tight and feeding wasn’t perfect, so I sent it back to Christensen Arms. They polished the action and adjusted the magazine feed spring. It came back working flawlessly — smooth and reliable now.

Package includes:

  • Carbon fiber-wrapped barrel
  • Muzzle brake
  • Mounted SIG Sauer Sierra3 BDX 6.5–20x52 scope
  • SIG BDX rangefinder (syncs with optic)
  • 8 boxes of quality .280 AI factory ammo
This is a turn-key package ready for the field.

Asking: $2,500

  • Prefer to sell as a complete package
  • Will ship to FFL (ammo ships separately)
  • Located in Arizona

Rifle #3 – Browning A-Bolt White Gold Medallion – .300 Win Mag

This is a striking Browning A-Bolt White Gold Medallion chambered in .300 Win Mag, purchased new and lightly used.

Upgrades and features:

  • Muzzle brake installed
  • Barrel floated and action glass bedded
  • 24” barrel, 3+1 magazine
  • Burris Fullfield II 3.5–10x50 scope
  • Leather Browning sling
There’s a small cosmetic blemish on the stock, which I’ve shown in photos, but otherwise the rifle is in excellent condition.

Asking: $2,600

  • Will ship to FFL
  • Located in Arizona

General Notes:

  • All rifles are in my possession and available for local inspection in Arizona.
  • I’m happy to provide more detailed photos or answer any questions.
  • Shipping to your FFL is no problem (buyer pays shipping and transfer fees).
  • Open to reasonable trade offers — especially in left-hand hunting rifles.
Thanks for looking, and I truly appreciate the helpful and knowledgeable community here.

That Browning 300 Win Mag looks really gorgeous. I am in Las Vegas, what part of Arizona are you in?

I don't have any left handed rifles, but I do have the following guns I wouldn't mind parting with if you were interested in possibly some kind of a deal: Tikka T3x Superlite bolt action rifle in .243 Win, Tikka T3x bolt action rifle in 30-06, Tisas 1911 style .45acp semi-auto handgun, and Glock model 20 semi-auto handgun in 10mm. I also have a Pedersoli .50 cal muzzleloader, and some high powered airguns, as well as some archery stuff, if you are at all interested let me know and I can send pics and details.

Thank you
Yes the Browning is really a nice gun. Its a real tack driver also. I've never done a load development with it but most every brand of bullet I have used has been sub-MOA. I East of Phoenix. My whole reason for selling is to shoot left handed. I plan on doing a safari in a couple of years so I'm interested in those type of rifles. If you are interested in the rifle send me a PM and I'll answer any of your questions.
Thanks again

I noticed I didn't have a pic of one of the scopes and range finder.
If you're not familiar with this type of scope and I sure most people are but the SIG Sierra3 BDX scope and rangefinder can link together. Once you set your ballistics in the app, the scope shows the correct holdover when you range a target. It’s easy to use, or you can just use it like any standard scope. Ive included a pic of the extras also.
Thanks for looking

@DaBill - I own a Browning ‘White Gold’ in .243 and your description of “striking” looks is very true - beautiful rifle, nice walnut, durable gloss finish. Also, it’s very accurate - sub inch at 100 yrds, adjustable trigger that remains very CRISP even at 3 lbs. and the short rotation on the bolt makes for a very fast cycle to get another round in the chamber.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
