Thankfully mine is the same!
I say that I am one lucky SOB, my wife doesn't mind all the dead stuff I have in the family room. She even told me that I have some empty wall space to fill.

Hey Royal, the eve height is 12'. That's why I had Craig put about 4' in the horizontal and curve the tail forward. "When" you get your croc, make sure the croc will detach from the base! Mine won't. (Craig said he won't do that on future mounts) It took seven grown men to get it off the trailer (with a tractor lifting it) to get in the trophy room! Once we got it in I put casters on the base. I can move it around myself now.@Buff-Buster ,
To give folks a point of reference can you tell us how tall the mount stands? trying to figure out how high of a ceiling is needed.
Very coincidentally tp this thread, I was measuring out 14 feet on my floor last night to see where I could put a croc rug.... Nancy asked what I was doing... I told her...![]()

Here are some pictures from my local studio. I think one of the best some in the states if you don't mind spending the money.

Laststand, may I ask how much the rug cost? Was it felt backed? Did you have he skull mounted? One of the main reasons for Croc rugs vs body mounts is cost. Price quote for my 12+ croc to mount upright like previous pictures was in range of 7-8 thousand, I went with the rug.
around $2500, did not have skull done, it exploded. Rug probably takes up more room than upright lifesize. I might add , of any game I have stalked,1/2 mile in mud above my ankles, being very nervous, then knowing I had a golf ball size target with no room for error at 125 yards, it certainly was the most exciting hunting experience I have had. It is not felt backed.Laststand, may I ask how much the rug cost? Was it felt backed? Did you have he skull mounted?
Thanks!
