Up for sale is a custom Winchester model 70 chambered in .30-06. This gun has a stainless steel Lilja Octagon barrel and everything sits in an MPI mountain rifle stock. It also has a Burris fullfield II 3-9 scope on it. It weighs just under 8 pounds on my scale. Not sure who built it, but they did a nice job. It is head spaced correctly and shoots federal 180s into minute of angle. It's a nice gun, but one of many I'm getting rid of to reduce inventory. Must ship to an FFL where the firearm is legal to own.

$2,200 shipped to the lower 48, $2.050 without the scope.

Thanks

Ken

Is wt with the scope? 26" barrel?

did this sell?

It didn’t, I did remove the pad that is on it in the pictures, the hard plastic top section was brutal. Put on the same NEGC pad, but without the plastic top.

Very nice

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
