CZ 550 .416 Rigby RAFFLE

It has certainly been entertaining.

AH Should put out a ticket I don't know what the law would be on that, if it would be legal or not or even just a few raffles per year would be nice. Every four months put out a ticket for guns, have some calibers like 404 Jeffrey, 300 H&H, 9.3 x 62 etc. some old classics.

The Rifle has apparently made its trek to the FFL that will do the final shipping on to me.

Thanks Al.

Just prepping to figure out how to shoot a "Big" gun. The last move up from a 300Win Mag to the 375 H&H was an interesting learning curve. I can only imagine it will be another return to school for me when I start shooting the 416. :W Dynamite:

It'll be like this!

I think I will have a slightly better stance than this guy.

Apparently no one wants to sell brass. Midway, Cabelas.

Quite willing to ship within the USA, but not allowed to purchase with a foreign CC billing address.
No local guys anywhere along the border appear to carry it.
It appears to be easier to smuggle illegal immigrants across the border than to purchase empty brass.

Thanks for that. I'll check that source out.
I may have a buddy buy it and bring it up on a business trip.

I can bring the inert components back in my luggage, so it is not illegal.

I am now awaiting Gunbroker to review my "intentions".o_O

I was tempted to reply: "World domination through the purchase of empty brass."

Hey @BRICKBURN try tradeexcanada.com, they have new hornady 416 brass 69.95/box of 20, 3 in stock. You can also try Prophet River Firearms and Canadabrass. They all have it for around the same price.

Thanks for that. I found that one and a couple of others that seem to be padding the price tag a tad.
Currently ranging from $46 to $73 for twenty empty brass.
That Gunbroker deal is looking good $193 vs $344 (both CAD) for 100 brass before taxes.

I guess this worked.
"I intend to make LEGAL purchases of components or firearms for my personal use."

I can play on Gunbroker now. :A Banana:

Thank you for finding this posting for me.
I contacted the guy and went back the next day to buy it and it was already gone.
Another lesson learned.
Is it legal for one of us to mail it to you?

I have no clue about the mail services and what inspections would have to take place.
I come back across with items myself all the time.
I hope to have a friend traveling back across to be a Mule in the near future.
Once I find another reasonably priced source I'll be working on the purchase.
Thank you for the implied offer of assistance.

Let me know if you need any help with it.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
