Fire Update 21.02.2025

Thank you for your patience and support, it has been frustrating for all concerned.

We have most soft nose bullets back in stock from #06 500 Nitro SN to #64E 8x57I here in Australia. Just starting with exports of this new stock.

There will be two new USA stockists, who will have supplies in next two months. All going well.

Smaller calibres coming soon.
We will not be making any FMJ this year. If an FMJ is needed please use our Hydrostatically Stabilised solids.

Regards,
Geoff & Shirley McDonald.

The above is the note that pops up on the Woodleigh website. Positive news.

We simply can't be without o as an option,....keep up the hard work Geoff

Do you know if any thier will be any factory ammo available using these bullets?

Hyrdos are made at a separate facility and have never been out of production, I've seen them in the Federal loading.

For the soft points - It's probably going to be a while, they have to make up all the back order products and then get to the massive commercial orders.

Norma will be. I just don't know their production schedule. I'm sure some of the smaller companies will also be loading them.

FWIW, we're still waiting for the ATF to approve the import permit, but as soon as that happens, we're excited to get them back in the US.

Are you getting in any .358 cal 250 grain or 310 grain bullets?

Well done! And I feel your pain I had an ATF permit and imported a bunch they had in storage for personal use.

Thank you for dealing with that process so we can have access.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!
