Any other north Gulf of Mexico fisherman on here beware of the over reach of the Biden administrations new rules for travel south of the 100 fathom curve. No travel above 10 knots and NO travel between sunset and sunrise. All due to protection of the Rices whale, this will greatly effect the offshore oil and gas production and our tuna and billfish fishing.

On the other hand the Biden administration pushes off shore windfarms.

Catchin' reds in Galveston this morning!

Looks like right by pleasure pier. Any trout action?
Yep, second jetty south of pleasure pier. I noticed a couple people with some dink trout other than that not much. Might be better at night right now. Had this jetty all to myself that morning but only caught a couple

Son caught a Spotted Gully Shark surf fishing in Namiba this summer. Dad struck out. Only had a half day of free time so was happy with this one.

Last year my father turned 80 years old so I took him out to Manitoba to fish the Red River for catfish, a species we had never fished before. It was an excellent experience to say the least. This year at the age of 81 he told me that he’d like to try it again so I booked another 8 hour day. To our amazement this year’s trip was even better than before. I decided to count the fish that I got in the boat and finished the day with 40. And I know Dad caught more than I did. Just spectacular numbers, but did we have sore arms at the end of the day!

On my bi yearly trip to southwestern MT to fish with some old friends from PA. One buddy lives out there and fishes extensively, has his own drift boat and raft rig. Always a good time. Had killer weather, caught the end of the hopper bite and a few afternoons of wicked streamer fishing. Lot of good fish didn't get photographed for quick release. Hard to beat a week of fly fishing like that.

Beautiful backdrop to fish in.

Caught my first few bill fish in southern Baja. Right near Cabo. Spring is epic for stripped Marlin. We caught 7 just 8 miles off the coast in like 3 hours.
Pretty unique as you aren’t just driving around trolling waiting for a bight. These local guides are chasing and spot casting these hungry Marlin as they feed on schools of bait fish. It’s impressive watching them sight cast so accurately with traditional tackle.
This was also like $600 usd split between 3 of us… viva Mexico

It is tough, but someone needs to live here
I guess I’ll have to console myself in that we don’t get hurricanes and earthquakes here. Just COLD winters!

September and October the fishing at the reservoir nearest my home get really good. The cutthroats must be released but we can keep the rainbows. A basic worm or shiner under a bobber is just fun and a shiner on the bottom can be magic. Soccer season finally ended so my little fishin buddy even got to join me. The fish in these pics all broke four pounds. They all had crawdads in their bellies

Had a nice trip with the Mrs. last weekend to the Outer Banks. Put 7 nice wahoo onboard along with 7 kings. Nice reds, blues and sheepshead the next day in the Sound.
