Gas operated. I love auto shotguns and hunt with them often. The reduced recoil makes it where even kids can shoot a 12g. We’ve started 3rd graders on 12g with the light loads and no trouble at all.

I really like auto-loaders too.
Have a SBE2 that weighs 7# and I use it for Turkey.
It kicks like an absolute mule with 3" Turkey loads.
Patterns great out to 60 yards so I never shot the 3.5" shells.
Couldn't imagine how it would feel without the Inertia Drive.

These autos are neat and their O/U shotguns are really nice as well. I’ve not been around them much until recently. Nice thing about going to SCI or DSC is getting to see all the guns!

Yes and no. He has the barrel now and I should have it soon. It is a .300 PRC.
So my thinking was that I would not want to cut down on barrel length on either a 6.5 or .300 PRC as I want maximum performance or why mess with those cartridges. Enter the good ole .300 Win Mag. A great all around cartridge for Africa and one I don’t mind cutting down on barrel length for a strictly bunting gun that I’ll use a suppressor on. Going to 22” unless someone convinced me otherwise.

I would definitely stick to 24" Keeps the 300 in the magnum catagory.
