This is the Remington 700 Classic model for 1985, made only that year. It is 350 Remington Mag caliber. Short action in walnut stock. 22" barrel. I bought it new in 1985, shot it 10 times, and put it away.

There is one small ding by the front swivel, shown in pictures. Other than that, it is as new. Comes in the factory original box with all the paperwork. $1600, shipped to the CONUS. Any questions, just ask.

Does that action length allow seating the bullet out any further without feeding problems?

Really cool rifle. If I didn't already have a 600, I'd be interested. Good luck!

The Hornady manual says for the 200 grain PSP the length is 2.800". I can get a 200 grain PSP in at 2.850". I don't have any loaded ammo to test feeding.

I have brass ( need to count) and a set of dies.

Had the same gun sold it for about 1K 10 years ago to one of the chiefs of the nez Perce tribe in Idaho as that's their chosen round for bear hunting in close cover.

Was out in the shop and digging around rearranging stuff and came across 250 rounds of new 350 RM brass that I could be talked out of.

Hot-rodded that same gun as a combo woods deer-bear rig and years later it became one with the Nez Perce (who are apparently BIG fans of that cartridge!) I've seen non-Rem factory ammo in 350 RM. My young teen son's reaction to shooting a deer with it way back "I LOVE this thing!!" LOL It's a hammer.

I recall 225 and up grainers allowing a slight adjustment, but stuck with 200s to maximize same. Also found that the dense, dual base powders like TAC, etc. made the most efficient use of the case v. bullet size. I might have some good recipes around for anyone who grabs it.
