Looking for a two on one (Two Buffs per Hunter) Hunt for Cape Buffalo.

I want to take my son on a reward trip for graduating college and felt it’s time to introduce him to one of my favorite animals to hunt. Probably ten to fourteen days. I have some flexibility but last two weeks of June and first week of July are taken as I will be hunting Banteng and Buff in Australia with a little wine tasting to boot.

I would highly recommend Derian Koekemoer Safaris. Just completed a very successful Cape buffalo cow hunt and plains game hunt at the BuffaloLand 10,000 acre concession where the Klaserie River flows through this past September and completed a detailed hunt report on AH. Lots of very nice bulls.

He also has several other concessions of similiar size all just outside of the Greater Kruger area including hunting rights to the unfenced Greater Kruger area next to Kruger National Park. My brother, nephew and I are booked for a trophy buffalo, crocodile and hyena hunt with Derian in 2026. Great gift for your son!

Sounds like you have a great plan for a excellent hunt with your son. Your tough part now will be looking at all the offers from the Outfitters and trying to decide which one to hunt with.

Thank you all for the replies so far as I review the offers. I’m leaning towards non South African offers as I’ve only hunted Capes in unfenced wild African countries.
