Cheetah at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre

Okay this isn't much of a natural picture, but thought I'd share this anyway. This Cheetah is a permanent resident at the Moholoholo Wildlife Centre at the base of the Drackenberg Mountains. A tour of the rehab centre was part of the photo safari that my wife and I took before hunting.

I decided to include this photo as I was very impressed by the staff at the centre and specifically their opinion on hunting. At the start of the tour, the group of 30 or so people were seated in kind of a theatre area. A gentleman from the centre then spoke about the centre and it's mission. He went on to speak about conservation and the role of hunters. As a self proclaimed bunny hugger however, he spoke very positively of hunters and how we play an important part in conservation. There's not much doubt in my mind that many in that audience were quite surprised to hear this. So my gratitude to the centre for taking what is a very politically incorrect position to take and verbally express that position.

Lake Josepine in Glacier National Park, Montana

It's not a hunting photo, but it is one of my favorite pic's from a visit to Glacier National Park last month. I thought that I would share it.

It is strange the images that actually invoke the best memories of hunting...

This is Krimmel, who thinks he is a hunting dog, glassing for game in the springtime bushveld.

Catch me if you can!

Here it's a funy picture that I have taken after a 100 meters crawl in the sub-tropical Mauritian forest.

If the animal can speak I am sure than this javan rusa deer will have said:
- Catch me if you can?...

Scotty, You can enter as many pictures as you would like. Please post pictures that have not already been posted on AH. Pictures must be yours. Post a picture or pictures in this thread and include a title and some text describing the picture. The picture should be nature or hunting related (trophies, guns, taxidermy,...).

My Photos

This photo is one of me about to shoot with my compound bow; a Bear Game Over.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
