It's -18 C here this morning and we have about 6 inches of snow, Thanks for the offer on the warthog tusk, it may be a good remedy. I'm going to try a couple of different colors from the local hobby store paints to clear up what is legible to these old eyesI saw that, it hit 44.5 C here about an hour ago, it’s now cooled down to 40C
On another note, or back to the question, I’ve got a couple of small pieces of warthog tusk that were given to me to replace the sight insert on one of my rifles, apparently it stays white and can be easily seen in low light conditions, I haven’t installed it yet so can’t confirm it, but that may be a better choice if you can find any.

Drill out the peep sight to mak(there is space) being at the rear end of the rear receiver this will give you the best open sight option especially if you are maturing like I am......ghost ring sights are the best and fastest irons availible.....It has both
